Is the problem new, or just something that's been bugging you for awhile?

I've heard that porting the TB and the MAF can cause drivability issues....expecially at low-rpms.

Has the car been tuned at all ???

from what ive read the stock maf is good for 500ish hp and you should have your tuner recomend one for your application and tune it, otherwise it'll do more harm then good.

but if u really want us to help figure out the problem u have to go into more detail.

i have hp tuners, we put it on the lab top on it and added 2 degrees in the mid range and 1 degree on top end and upped my red line to 6500 it seemed to help it a bit but i think that my major prob is the clutch and the stock 3.42s. it was starting to **** me off a bit but i'm not really worried about it now, i about a month or so i'm putting a tsp head and cam package on so the stock clutch isn't really going to hold up anyways so i'll prob go with a spec/ aluminium flywheel setup anyways.. but thanks man

Did the car hook and bog? If the clutch was slipping it wont cause it to bog. If so then it is definately not the clutch(although the stocker will not hold up for long)
The only way around the Bog is to launce at a higher RPM. The stock clutch, much less the 10bolt, will not hold up to this.
If you are building this car for an occasional trip to the drag strip I would reccomend the Steel flywheel. It will help to store energy and not bog as bad when you launch as well.

my stock clutch and stock 3.42 10 bolt lasted for around 30 runs droping the clutch at 4000 with nittos and the 10 bolt is still together and the stock cluch was still pretty good when i put the spec 3 in

now droping the cluch with a spec 3 with etstreets is not recomended haha

I think it is something in the tune, take it to a dyno and tune on it before I pop $200 bucks or more for a set gears.
