what kinda a flywheel/clutch and who did it? thye have to balance the fly/ pressure plate at teh same time on a C5, maybe a weight broke off or fell out of the flywheel this would cause the vibration.
who put the stuff in for ya?

it is under warranty but the car is modded and i really dont want any prroblems. I want to try to isolate the problem first. I wonder if a bent valve could cause this vibration. I had a tad of valve float after iput on some 1.8 rockers the other day. I put new springs on last night and checked pushrods and no more float, but i have this vib. IM not sure if it was there before but any input is appreciated

What kind of clutch? I had a spec come apart on a customer once, and it caused this same vibration. It was fine for the first 2k miles, but slowly began to vibrate.
There are only a few things that could cause a vibration:
Prop shaft
clutch
balancer
With the clutch in, it makes no differece, that leaves you with 2 options Clutch pressure plate/flywheel( not the disk, it is not turning when the car is in gear clutch in) or the balancer.

if you wann check your valves quick get a straight edge peice of metal take off the rockers and lay it across the top of the valve stems, i doubt the vlaves are bent from a little float,
i have ls6 springs on my heads w/ a big cam and was getting valve float and never bent any of mine.....

i dunno i was thinking perhaps as the part moved faster it balanced or something. kinda like a tire out of round will vibrate until a certain mph and go away.
