Default Need to gain 20rwhp from....

changing to a bigger cam. Right now I have a B1 (221/.558/114) and I put down 380rwhp/360rwtq. Id love to get somewhere near 400rwhp and still have my MAC headers. What kind of cam would you guys recommend? I was thinking a 230/224 reverse split, or something possibly bigger. My friend has a 230/236 on a 110 (forgot the lift #'s) and he was trapping 119mph on nitto's.

I would go at least to a TSP cam spec. 231/237 on a 112 lsa, and I believe .595 .598 My old cam was a 228/228 .581 .581 on a 112. And my #'s are below w/ that cam. Lots of people here in vegas have 232/236 on a 113 with 590's lift. and they put down nice #'s even on 3:73 + gears. My new setup will be well over my old one. But I would use these as sugestions, as you can see, my old setup put down the #'s Hope that helps a little

A 228/228 on a 112lsa will give you the 400 in a m6. But if your gonna change might as well step up a little. The TSP 231/237 is a good cam. THe FMS cams are good as well. I believe they are the mentioned 232/236 cams.

Yes, all the cams I listed above are good cams, but as said, if your going to do it, do it right. if this is a daily driver, I would go at least w/ a TSP cam as listed above. you WILL get over 400rwhp w/ that cam. I have a 237/245 now, and I LOVE it feels great, but I only have 300mi. on my new motor, not done w/ the tune, so no dyno #'s yet, hope these sugestions help you out, good luck keep us posted

Thanks guys. I just picked up cyphur_traq's Comp Cams 230/236 598/595 112 XE-R. I'm also ditching my MAC's and picking up some Jet Hots with ypipe for $400. Damn I love being thrifty

if you go to www.sicws6.com and go under images. you will find my dyno chart. Those #'s are from my old setup. PPC LT headers, lid, 228/228 .581.581 112lsa cam, STOCK heads. and an LSX intake. not a 90mm. Just a thought
