PP to AFR and everything in between.

it would help us if you at least gave us a budget and what your looking to get out of them.

Well, if AFR are worth the extra money, I'll pay it.

My Plan is to go 10's n/a, I'm also looking into a new botton end.

I called SLP today about the ZL-402 and I'm not paying $100 crate fee, $400-500 just Cali, when I'm in Hawaii

I'd like to stay under $6K if possible for everything

A 408 with some Stage 3 TEA AFR's and a FAST 90/90 would do the trick.

I'm not sure on cost/shipping though for this, the heads are around 2900 but they are for > 3.900 bore.

give us a call, we can probably help you out and keep it in that price range, depending on your setup options

Well, I have Patriot 5.3L Stage 2 heads now, I had some problems, dual springs that came with them one broke after 3000 miles.

The second set that Terry sent for free, I got valve float on #6 and #3 cylinder and the piston hit the valve.

Were the springs the Patriot "Gold" or were they brown-grey springs from Patriot?

They were the older bigger diameter springs, Not the gold.

I have a set of stock rocker arms that you can have if you want.
I know of a way to get heavy stuff shipped to Hawaii for $1 per lb. Only problem is is that you have to pay shipping to their location. Let me know if you want me to check into it further.

Patriot had alot of people breaking the first Patriot dual springs, and then after that they went to the "gold" dual springs which have not had a reported break yet in almost a year of use.

I hope you didn't have too much damage from the spring breaks.

Anyway, I would go with TEA, Absolute (might have to wait 6months to a year for those ), or wait for the AFR 225's, which could make the most power, and are supposed to come out in December or January.

Ditto. It was a long hard decision for me because most of the people on the right have killer heads, but in the end I went with FFHP.
