cool.yeah, those street tires will kill your 60' times.actually,i would be more interested in what your trap speed is.that's about as good as a dyno for calculating HP.it will be interesting to see what ED comes up with for me on my motor.just waiting on my heads to get flow numbers.

ya, i figured 12 second e.t with a ~120mph trap speed. i've also got about 150lbs of weight reduction and i only weight 118lbs so i should have a fairly low race weight

what heads are you going with? and you gonna flow them with your intake. when it was said and done i didnt have much cfm to work with and thats why i think my cam is on the larger side.

Hey Damian, what part of ATL are you in? I'm temporarily in near the Athens area-not far from ATL (Ivan damage). Just curious...

FFHP.no,i didn't think of that.good idea tho.i just sent my heads out, maybe i can ask brad to do that if he has an ls6 intake laying around.i'll end up with something a lot smaller than you.i'll only take it to the strip every once in awhile,i'm looking for low to mid range power since it is my daily driver.

JRP, I don't know how I missed this post. I posted up about a custom cam and Ed responded. I think he is my ticket for a cam that will max my situation. Like you, I am more road racing than drag racing. Road Atlanta is were I usually end up when I am ready to run the car hard.

Looks like you will have a killer set up. Can't wait to get involved with Ed.

Jrp, I'm guessing you took the engine out from the bottom. Are you gonna do a write up on that? Cause that would be awesome. Looking forward to hearing your custom cam results too.

Going through the bottom is the least complicated way of doing it. I pulled two through the top before even considering using the bottom method (the third pull). I can attest for the difference
