Tell me everything you know about this cam? is it possible with stock displacement? would it stall too much or need high idle? drivability? anyone ever done it? will the pistons clear the heads(stock for stock)? anything else you can tell me? I would like to get a lot of power out of stock heads and what not, or does anyone know of a cam that has specs of like 235/235 112 lsa .600/.600? that would be close to exactly what i would want(or something else close to that and would it clear stock heads)
Tell me everything and I would like everyones input that has any input.

There seems to be much better choices out....do a search on "FM13" cam I have it currently and think it would be what your looking for. BTW-I have also had a TR224 and TSP228 in the past. All these cams need tuning to make the HP you want.

TSP231/237 is a good cam, but a little peaky on the high RPM range compared to the FM13 or TSP 233 cams. You really want a cam that tends to put the most power all over the RPM range or as much as possible. A lot of people tend to say the TSP 231/237 needs gears which is a good indication of how the low end feel. On my FM13 cam...no gears were really needed since the low end felt fine. I did how ever put 4.10's in last week and the pull is unreal. None of these larger cams felt as mean on the street under 3,000 rpm's as the TR224 cam, but when the all out street race comes with the rpm's hitting 6,000+ there is no looking back at the smaller 224 cams!

Hey Magred, where did you get your 4.10's from and how much??? I am soon installing a tsp 231/237 and want to put 4.10's in, but i am unsure where to get them from... Also with stock 3.42's is the tsp 231/237 going to be somewhat driveable??? Thanks.
