Default Timing chain for cam install?

Which one? There are so many to choose from I'm stumped on which one would be the best as for performance, peace of mind and cost. JWIS, SLP, Comp, Rollermaster? Opinions are allways welcome. Thanks.

Not sure if this will help or not, but I recently purchased a TSP 231/237 cam with a Rollmaster Double Roller (non heat treated). Trevor from TSP recommended it.

JWIS chain. It's used in the C5R engines that run the 24 hour Lemans in France, enough said.

What kind of cam are you going with? A double rollmaster is a sweet chain indeed, but some think its overkill. A JWIS would do you just fine on most cams.

I'm going with the Comp adjustable, because I have a March underdrive pulley and supposedly there have been some fitment issues. Just out of curiosity what would be the reason for going with the non heat treated Rollmaster over the heat treated one?

J-WIS. here with a March pulley. No issues at all and no need to replace sprocket if it is in good condition.
The reason a lot of poeple use double roller is that they are cheaper than J-WIS ($150) and are adjustable (advance/retard).
No issues on the oil pump either. I spin till 6600 on an XE-R Stealth II.

I asked Trevor at TSP the same question before I bought mine, he told me that the heat treated was basically for seriously high hp, big cube, FI, etc applications. I think he quoted something like over 600rwhp would require the heat treated. That's why I ended buying the non heat treated.
