Do you have a converter? I have a 98, A4, 3.23, and I VERY well may be getting this cam while it's on special....but I have a 3500 stall speed converter.

Anyone know if you can use this cam(MS3) with a TCI 3500 with 3.23 gears?

I'm running 3.23s with a 4400 stall. For driveability, the 3500 will be fine, but if your looking for all out performance go with a 4400. I get just over 15MPG in town and got 24.5MPG on the last road trip I took.

That certainly is the "conventional thought". But particularly on a stroker motor (say 402-408) I wonder if that is true. The cubes sure can soak up a lot of cam.

Anyone got any experience here?

No, I'm saying that for stock cube applications. You're right about bigger cubes being able to take advantage of bigger duration.

You can run this cam with stock heads, and your gains will be up in the 400s. Dont know about the MPG, dont have it.

What could a cop really do other than noise pollution and what not? I know true duals dumped are illegal, and no cats (which i have both). But, say you have cats and out the back, can he really do anything?

Fix-it ticket I believe. It would require you to fix the illegalities of your car and have it tested or show proof to a judge, etc. That is what I remember reading........just like getting a "fix-it" for tint.
