Hell I must be lucky.

My first car with my name on the title was an '84 Z28 HO with 3.73s stock. $900

Was real nice for $900. No rust at all and was fast for what it was after I modded it. Got it to beat 350 IROCs(most of'em stock except for exhaust)

Some yahoo(previous owner) didnt know how to wax though and left it on too long on half the roof so it turned light grey(car was dark grey) Yeah it looked pretty

But it was mine. lol I still have i, down in south Texas in storage stuffed with a tons of restoration parts(literally...I bought it all and never got around to putting it in. I'd buy something, and say "mmm...I'll wait until I buy "X" to put all this on" and it has gone like that ever since....Cant wait to move back to SouthTex to turn some wrenches on it. Over the years it has developed a rust spot on the pillar behind the drivers window on my freakin $3600 paint job! (Indigo Blue Metallic)

Damn grandfather-in-law is senile and didnt know to cover it up. I mean COME ON its been there for like 10 years you couldnt cover it up? Hasnt moved in 7 years. I havent even laid eyes on it in since 2000. Lol so much to do so little time....

I like to put on my old leather jacket from high school and sit in it. Reminds me of the good 'ol days The smell just drives my senses crazy!

When this thread started I didn't even know what cam I was going to get, when I was going to get it, or how exactly I would get it installed. I just ran my car for the first time with the MS3. It doesn't want to idle AT ALL (A4) and needs tuning horribly bad. It's going to speed inc next friday though. When I was trying to get it to idle at first, a couple cans of vegetables from the shelves in the side of the garage (wood shelves FIRMLY attached to the side at that) fell and rolled towards me.

Yeah my needed tuning bad also. I have a M6 but coming to a stop the damn car would stall. Boy it was a pain in the *** to get it restarted. But I still need it to be fine tuned, still hunts for a idle on hot starts.

dude, do you have any videos of your ride after the cam install ? my mods are close to yours so I'm wondering how it'll sound at idle, rev, and at different speeds...since my TA is a daily driver..

I want a cam that sounds badass at idle, has mid-upper range pull and won't require me to change springs for atleast 20-25k miles [daily driven]

I'd love to listen to your car.. if hosting is an issue, you can email it to me at ls1ta@optonline.net file size is no issue...

Thanks!!

well lets keep this goin.
bad *** car!
i too listened to the vid a few *caugh* 100 *caugh* times....

i am in the market for a cam too.
but i aant more low end.
when they say 3000-6800 rnage, does that mean she is a dog down?
how the hell do u pull 1.8's with the stock rear if the band is between 2800-6800?

i am confused.

also, is it true that when the durtion bla/bla are farther apart (ie: 237/242 compared to 2287/228) that the idle is way lopier?

i want lope, i want low end/mid power, but damn, i want your sound.

any advice?

mods in sig (except i will get the longtubes soon) damn rookie mod w/the shorties

again. bad *** car.

I just got mine dyno tuned today and no, she is NOT a dog down low. More in the low-mid range (keep in mind I have 3500 stall) than the stock cam. Much snappier response than I expected. You get lope from multiple things: having more exhaust duration than intake as you stated, more total duration, and a lower LSA are big ones. I hope to get some track times next sunday, if the track is open. I am confident it will 60' well, but then again I pulled 1.72's before the cam. It does sound pretty nice. I'll have to go for another drive tomorrow. It's a shame I'm on snow tires and there's a bunch of, well, snow all over. (i'll have to get the ET streets out whenever the roads are clear )

Hopefully u get the times u want. I think their is more tuning that can be done. Try calling Jason@TSP to see if your numbers are up to par.
