Well I was under the impression no matter what pully it was it need to be machined cause the oil pump is shimmed outward to accomidate(sp) the double chain. I'm not sure bout the new sfi pulley. Someone know?

felton is correct, the newer SFI ASP pullies are machined for clearance, the older ones, the snout needs to be machined for the roller. The shims AND longer bolts should have came with the double roller.....

so how much do i need to shim, I have the newer pulley. When I installed the asp pulley it crushed the oil pump bc. asp didn't press the sleeve on the snout the entire way. They paid for a new pump and sent me another pulley though.
