Your analysis looks good for an LS1 with so few miles on it. Your cooper looks very good. It normally take a while for the cooper to come down. When I had 16,000 miles on my car my cooper was at 181. Howver, you do seem to drive your car hard at times.

Looking good! Iron is probably higher than mine simply because your engine is fresher. It should trend downwards in the future. Same with copper. Stick with this oil and you'll see low engine wear in future reports too. Good stuff!

Anyone had an oil analysis done using Mobil 1 0W40 with a K@N filter? I've been running that and am wondering which would be better for my 76k car. I like how the M1 is slightly thicker, but I hear the GC will thicken to a 40wt over time. Patman, have you seen any LS1 oil analysis done on the M1 before?

Yes, I've seen lots of different oil analysis results with various M1 viscosities, including 0w40, in LS1 vehicles. Check on the bobistheoilguy.com message board and you'll find them posted there.
