Default take a look at these flow numbers.......

The person that flowed my heads today didnt have a 3.9 bore (I am told that is the standard for our LS1's??) so he used a 4.00 one at 28". is there any way to convert the flow numbers I have to 3.90 specs to compare with other heads? here are the numbers that we got. also, can someone critique these numbes for me too? good? not so good? i dont know a lot about how to read them. thx

lift int exh

.100 67 57
.200 131 111
.300 190 150
.400 244 182
.500 281 204
.600 311 213

so where did you finally find a place to flow them? those numbers are in line with what PP advertises once you minus a few cfm going down to a 3.90 bore. Check the PP review thread i started for more info. in all honesty those numbers dont tell you a thing.

3.90 bore will lose about 7-8 cfm in the high lift numbers. Was the exhaust flowed with a pipe?

no there was no pipe on the exhaust....can someone inform me what difference the pipe on the exhaust will make? Logic says it will make the flow numbers go down more, but lately Ive been wrong several times while using "logic"

jrp, i found a small (but very experienced) race shop about 3 hours north of my house. Just north of Springfield, MO. apparently he is the only person with a flow bench in the area..... At least thats what I was told.

A pipe will add about 10-15cfm in the higher lift numbers.

Yes, I switched over to the PRC's. I sold the TSP/Patriot Raceport heads that were on my car and when I bought again, I decided to try out some of the PRC's.

Let us know how your combo turns out.
