Please don't tell me how to right my posts. If you would have read the post/posts from before, then you would have known that I made a logical point. I didn't ask for any help from someone else. I just made a point, wether it be LG, MTI, or jack *** racing, that there are many cams exactlly like this one. I'm not bashing TSP, I buy lots of stuff from them, and I buy nothing from LG, so what would be my point in bashing TSP? It seems, from the other posts, that most buy the TSP cams because of price and service TSP provides. There is absolutly nothing wrong with that. That's exactlly why I deal with them myself. I just wanted to point out that many other vendors grind the same cams, yet many people think they are drastically diffrent. I could probablly name 10 vendors off the top of my head with very similar grinds floating around.
Bull99ls1: I run a Comp XE-R 244/248 that was ground per my request to the numbers I told them. I bought it through TSP for those that care......

please dont start a flame war in this thread... can somone awnser or comment on my statement?

i see the biggest difference b/t the tq'er and the 233/239 and the tsp magic stick as this.. the tsp magic stick will not be streetable in my car... the 233/239 looks great imo.

casue thisis an interesting thread as i may be buying this cam in
a few weeks.

bull99ls1's point is the reason i believe i may go with the 233/239,
lots of people say, "well if yer gonna go that one, just go the next one up."

but where do u stop?
think i have been talked up incrementally from a 224 to the 233/239 i may get.

not that i am unhappy with my research, but from where i see, the bigger, badder u go, u affect rpm band, spring replacement, drivability, etc.

on paper, looks like anything similar to the 233/239 is a good compromise of all the above.........................................

the service tsp provides is a bonus...........

i am rambling...time to go to bed
my friendly $.02

I'm almost ready if summit would hurry up with my fuel system parts, and BMR with my control arms, and Hal with my shocks. Oh nevermind, it'll be a while.
As far as the 2 cams being considered here, the 233/233 and the 233/239, the 233/239 should produce better power across the board. Just because a cam is nicknamed "the torquer" dosen't mean it makes more torque than anything else. A foward split, if kept reasonable, usaully out performs a single split or reverse split everytime. In LS-1's that is. Heads and exaust also have alot to do with it.

Yeah, took me a while to realize it after wanting a reverse split to be different, but forward splits seem to produce some impressive results in our motors.

What?! Who told you this?! It's a lie!!

Seriously, though, I would also expect the 233/239 to make better numbers as well. Not just because of the greater exhaust duration, but also the higher lift as well.

When I put my TSP 233/239 in a few weeks back I went from manley's to PRC duals just for safety, this cam is great and cant wait to get it to the track on some spray

Im glad you bought the cam and im sure you'll be pleased with the sound, driveability and performance
