Default I have 2 similar cams, which one should I use?

Ok guys, I just bought Big Mikes heads and cam from him and I'm not sure which cam I should be going with. The spec's are very close.
The cam I have in the car now is a TSP 231/237 598 595 on 112, which is a Lunati grind (slower ramp rates)
The cam I got with the heads is a 230/236 595 602 on a 113 lsa. It is a XER lobe.
The heads are stage 2x Cartek ls6's

What do you guys think?

Thanks
Frank

Use the XE-R cam. The stiffer lobes are much more "street friendly" and also produce more low-end power. The 1 degree of duration isn't going to make any diffrence. You'll thank yourself for sure.

the only real differences are
112 or 113 lsa
lifts are opposite
lunati grind vs XER grind

what would the difference in lsa do for me? what does that do with with power band, move it up or down?

Thanks
Frank

The lifts on the TSP are oppisite because they are 2 diffrent lobes. The intake lobe has a more aggressive profile, although still very soft, than the exaust. The exaust side is a very soft lobe, hence the lower lift. The diffrence in LSA will only drop you 1.5 degrees of overlap. Nothing drastic or anything to worry about. The XE-R will more than make up for the loss.

So would it be worth my effort to even switch them?

Are your pistons flycut??

The 230/236 may require that.

with the XE lobes and a 112 it will idle a little more chopy
with the XER lobes and the 113 it will idle a little smother and you will have better low end TQ and you will be able to take advantage of your heads even more.
