That cam is designed to show gains while still keeping a very smooth, better than factory idle. It will also work well with FI, although it's not the best choice for a maximum effort application.

Let me know the rest of your combination, and I would be happy to recommend one of our cams that will work best with your combo.

Thank you for the replies!

I just found that cam specs interesting, that's all. The wide lsa and intake-to-exhaust split caught my eye.

No problem, let me know if I can help with anything else.

The GT7 actually pulls pretty strong from idle up to the redline. This cam is great for the guys that want more power, but still have to worry about emissions, or you don't want your wife/girlfriend to know you're modifying the car

If you want to make good power, take a look at our GT1-1, 229/242 .631/.631 114cl, we use it with our stage III heads and full length headers with an underdrive pulley and see about 500HP at the crank. This cam is still very streetable in a six speed car.

Hope this helps

I've got the GT1 in my truck with a poor tune and stock stall and its streetable. If you stop too fast it has been known to die though. On the highway i actually gained a little MPG. Up to 19.6 from 16.5 (stock).

Hey Ed, i emailed you about 2 months ago for a big Lingenfelter sticker to put on my back window. I'm tired of people asking whats in it.

In a N/A application with stock heads on a 04 GTO A4 how does the GT7 compare to the GT2-3?
