Here is ss383camaro's soundclip of the ASA cam at idle. I dont know the exhaust setup, so maybe he can chime in and let us know. This thing definitely does not sound stock. ASA clip

Sounds similar to my car, accept i have no muffler, so its a bit deeper at idle. I havent dynoed with my ASA yet, so i dunno where the peak is.. but i know its wayyy up top... this thing pulls forever...

I've got an 03 Z71 that will eventually have a torque cam in it. That thing sounds sweeet. I can't imagine pulling up to a light and the car next to me with essentially close to the same motor as mine and hearing that. I would just think. this is my car with a lid, ported maf hooker lts hooker orypipe and loudmouth exhaust, it has no tuning and this clip is with the a/c on. If you listen closely you can hear the car start to die about five seconds into the clip when I turn on the a/c. Also my wife was holding the mic against the window screen, and the car was about fifteen feet away. It SHAKES THE GROUND!

so with the AC off, it stays pretty smooth idle? If you get tuning, will the surge go away when A/C turns on?

oh my lordy lord...thats sounds awesome as hell. I just imagine pulling up to a little ricer and the ricer wouldnt even have to look at the car, he would just know he is getting screwed.

I had the *** end of the car pointed toward the house, but yes it is loud. Many thanks to Trojan T/A for hosting this clip. It idles exactly the same A/C on or off, It idles at about 800 is that too high? It always has even when stock.

That thing does sound good. Now with some big lift that could be one hell of a cam.
