Happy is a relative term.
My car runs well for what I have.
Do I want to go faster? Yes
Will I work at going faster? Yes
Am I happy with what I have now? Yes
Am I done modding? Not a chance. I have a bunch of new BMR parts for the front on the garage floor now
I guess to answer your question, I am happy for now. But it's like Crack. The more I have the more I want.

Hehe, well HP is an addicting drug, and a site like this doesn't help.
But I can say with fairly good certainty I will be happy with my car pretty soon. I'm in the process of adding AFR 205 heads, and then thats about it for the power mods. May go with a Fast 90mm to pick up a few more, but thats it. I'll be very happy with a streetable, reliable 420-430rwhp, and a mid 11 second pass at ~120. Thats all I've ever wanted in the 3.5 years I've owned the car. The car is a blast, I don't ever plan on giving it up, I still will drag it regularly, and I'll always be tinkering with it. If I come upon a decent sum of money, I may do a forged build and add some nitrous. But otherwise, I'm happy with what I've got and what I'm doing. I'm at a point in my life where some other things are starting to take precedence and I can't keep blowing ~5 grand a year on mods. But I'll still never sell it

I was so excited when I finally put the LS1 in place of the little 4.8 and its the **** compared to the 4.8 but I was satisfied for like a week! Now that I have the LS1 and it has so much potential I dont think Ill ever be completly stisfied. But anyone who has a LS1 should be happy even if its totally stock!

I really like my setup. I have no driveability issues (after the tune). I am not touching mine for any more mods. I could do heads, but I think 381 rwhp is plenty for on the street. If I do any more mods it will be to put on a 12 bolt rearend after I blow up the 10 bolt. There are not many cars on the street that can keep up with it, not an 04 Mustang Cobra (if it's stock), not a stock C5. In fact, this evening I had a blast. A Factory Five Replica Cobra came up next to me at a light on a very open road. Couldn't have been a better opportunity. We both revved when it turned green and got an equal launch. I pulled him by about 2 car lengths to about midway through 3rd before we both let off. The guy (he was probably my age, 50) caught up and had a huge grin on his face with a thumbs up. We slowed down and talked a little.

I was 100% happy with mine. It was fun to drive but not everywhere, but didn't have everything to do with the setup though (i have a young child). But I will be honest and say I had a lot more fun running it at the track than driving it around. But that is just how I am, I wanted a fast car, not a cruiser. But being that it was my daily driver, I couldnt afford to keep modding it so I choose to sell it But I'm sure I'll be back in the game again, but next time I will be much smarter about it and do what my husband is doing, so I'm not paying payments on a car that is being consantly modified.
