LS1 will be part of the Engine Masters Challenge. .
Just reading this months PRI and the LS1 will be 1 of 2 engine configurations that engine builders will compete with to see who makes the most power. Ratings taken from 2500 to 6500 rpm and the average torque and hp are combined to talley the score. Should be interesting.

Kaase may but the other combination will be 509 CID engine, so I am sure Jon will be busy with that one.

6600 rpm clutch dump of death Administrator
Thats cool. I was wondering when it might be included. I think in this years challenge it would have destroyed everyone else in the 410 cu inch competition.

Chris,
Not to discredit anything but, it doesn't say anywhere or anything about an LS-1 being involved in the EMC. We send a guy up there every year and this year is just big block. They only do one model a year. big block-small block-big block-small block .Plus the fact that they have never allowed a distributorless ignition system.
