Here's one picture of the intake runner, not the best, but it shows the cnc work.

If you want to upgrade to the 2.100 valves, the best thing to do is buy the heads straight from scoggin-dickey and send them back to us for big valves, bigger seats, new valve job, and I would get the full hand sanding for maximum flow. We would charge 950.00 for all of the extra work. This would still give you a full boogie set of heads for less than 3,000.00

new GM LS6 castings CNC ported by LPE
2.100"/1.57"
full hand sanding for max flow
professional machining & re-assembly

You probably want some better springs for your big inch motor, we'll install yours, or we can sell you a set of whatever you need.

With this same head combination and our GT1-1 cam on a 427ci engine we see 500RWHP!!

Hope this helps,
Ed
Ed, I have these on my 346. Would it be worth it for me to pull them off and have you put 2.05 or 2.08 (what ever will fit the stock bore.) And how much will it cost? How much more flow acn I expect?
thanks,
Jason

Ed, curious as to what kind of power this combo made. I have this cam in the goat. Thanks.

Rob, on my 98 C5 automatic I put down 400rwh. This is with GMPP LS6 heads and LPE GT2-3 cam. Other mods were FLP headers with cats, Vararam air intake, LS6 intake, Corsa exhaust, and SuperYank 3500 converter with 3.42's. The LPE LS6 heads I have are the 60cc version with Comp Cam 918 springs. Since the ones I have are 01 heads they do not have the hollow stem valves found on the 02 and later ones but they are still stock sizes. These heads have only been upgraded with better springs and nothing else. Me and OneBadWS6 have contacted each other and will try and setup a date to get these heads flowed possibly this week. Like Ed said earlier in the thread, these heads and the GT2-3 cam are for sale. I was very satisfied with this combo, but just doing something different now. I will do a better price if someone wants cam and heads together, please email at pinwizd@aol.com me for more details.

Jason, I've been trying to dig up info on this combo for quite a while now, so I'd really appreciate your input. Was there a significant difference in valvetrain noise with the GT2-3 cam?

How does the throttle response and drivability compare to stock? Basically, I'm wondering if the large CNC intake ports have a big effect on throttle response or low end performance? When I think about a 240cc intake port instead of the stock LS1 205, it seems like a huge change, but when you think of that change tied in with the long intake manifold runner, it might not really be that big of a deal. It seems like every CNC'd 243 casting out there is at least 238+ cc's.

Sorry. wrong Jason. I'm running these heads and the ASA cam. I love it. I'm getting about 420 at the rear wheels with a really weak tune and no maintence.

I think Jason answered for you, but the numbers in your sig are very respectable. Have you seen our CAI for the GTO? A set of heads would really wake up your engine at this point.

Very nice numbers Jason got out of that mild package. I have seen and really like your CAI setup. Buddy of mine has it and its first class. I may get rid of mine and buy one down the road at some point.

The goal I set for this car was 400/400 at the wheels on an extremely mild setup. These heads seem to work with the cam.

Thanks guys.

I talked to the owner of High Flow, he's all set and ready to flow the heads, I e-mailed the owner, just have to make sure the heads are clean so they don't clog the bench. In another thread I see someone posted flow #'s of AFR 225cc heads vs a set of Absolute Speed heads that made 430rwhp with a 224 cam, here they are vs the LS6 heads #'s posted by LPE.

I spoke to Jason, and I hope you understand, but he's not going to just hand off his heads to someone he's never met for a flow test. He is definitly willing to let us use his heads for this, but he will be going with you and watching the test himself. If you're not open to that, then we can forget it.

Keep in mind, we don't have anything to prove here, these heads have been on the market for over 3 years, and everybody knows what they flow thanks to J-Rod's head chart.

You're the one who made the statement " I'll bet money they don't flow what you say they do" which is what started this whole discussion.

I'm not even looking for that, I just want a fair comparison. All you have to do is call Jason and tell him when and where and he'll be there.

A lot of people are watching this thread, so if you want to do it, make the call. If not, let me know and I'll have him take the heads to any bench in the Chicago area, so everybody can see the independant numbers. I'll even pay for that test myself!

Gave a call over to High Flow Heads 2 days ago and left a message. Still waiting to hear back when I can bring over the head.

Hay calm down .

I gave him Mike's #, it is the busy season, he is busting out a set of Trick Flow heads for a Renegade guy who wants to be ready for the spring break shoot out. It's O.K to call more than one time. And I did call Jason, told him when to meet me ect. Like I told him I only need one head and if he don't trust me he could have met me at Speed Inc like I said and anyone there can vouch for me, besides what am I going to do with one head? Jason told me he would call me back and never did.

ONEBADWS6,

I'm calm, everythings cool on this end, I'm just saying you basically called us out and we're ready to go, but you make it seem like we're avoiding you and it's not the case.

People want to see these results, and at first you said your guy could get them right in, that's the only reason for the rush.
Let me know what's up,

Ed
