Mike over at High Flow called me yesterday. There is a possibility were going to flow them today. He has some other things going on so were going to play it by ear.

Jason when are you free to do the test? You never called Mike back Sat, are we still going to do this?

Call him. He has 4 posts on LS1tech. I wouldn't say he checks this regularly.

I'll speak with Jason today, what I hear you saying is we can do this whenever Jason is available. Is that correct?

It is not that easy, Mike @ High Flow runs a business and Jason has told him he doesn't want to pay for the flow, I said I would as did you. Every time either I or Mike (once per person) tells Jason when it can be done he says he will call us back and never does. Mike does a lot of heads for NMRA and other serious racers, to have him drop everything at the drop of a hat for free or $50 to flow a set of heads is a lot to ask wouldn't you say? Lets set up an opointment and stick to it, other wise take the heads somewhere else that hasn't flowed top heads from Patriot and TEA.

We would charge 950.00 for all of the extra work. This would still give you a full boogie set of heads for less than 3,000.00

Hope this helps,

The less expensive, thicker deck, AFR 225 heads have all of the above mods with new valves and springs installed.

The AFR is the better buy. Sorry!

Well the AFR heads are nice. However an AFR 225 head will not make the power of properly ported 2.100 valve ls6 head. We are getting in the 350+cfm range with that combo here at TEA. However it is only recommended on a 4.125 bore.

Bill(ONEBADWS6), Mike at High Flow was suppossed to call me back on Sat if he could do it. He said he had other things going on so he wasn't even sure if he could do it that day. I never got a call that day, fine. I don't expect him to drop everything he's doing to flow these heads. I talked with him late last week and he told me he had some heads to finish up for some racers. Bill, upon our first conversation you said you were going to pay for the test. When Mike called me from High Flow he said you weren't going to pay for the test. Well if your not going to pay and I'm not going to pay let's just split the cost. I don't like calling someone repeatedly everyday and bugging them. I have a very busy schedule and so does he, we will get together for the test but I want to be there when its conducted.

That is fine with me, when I talked to him he was under the impression you were going to call him on Sat, just a misunderstanding. He said he will only charge $50 to do the testing. Let me know what you set up with him.

Gave a call to Mike and left a message to try and set something up for this Saturday. Waiting for his call back.
