Default Motor problems

Recently my 99 z28 starting making a taping noise that sounded like it was coming from under the intake and it got louder and faster the more the rpm's increased. So I was on my way home to park it when I hit a patch of water and the tires broke free and the car reved to about 3,000 rpm. The oil pressure went from 40 or so to none and the motor stalled and will not turn back on. What could this be?

I have longtubes, ory, flowmaster, cutout and nitto's and the car was running fine before this happen. The care will not turn over at all. And when I coasted it in to a parking lot I looked down and all the oil came out of the car that was intill I had it towed to my house then it spit out more oil on the flatbed. I need to find out what is wrong so I can put it back together. I guess it's not all bad now it's time to make it better right?

Hydro lock? or just a plain rod/bearing failure. But if oil came all out that indicates cracked block.

If I cracked the block did it take anything else out with it like the crankshaft or the pistons. I'm having it checked out by a mechanic right now to see what went wrong. If the block is trash and I have to get a new one any suggestions? I was thinking about the slp 402 but I don't think I want the extra weight of the iron 6.0 block.
