Default cam w/ stock heads????

I have a Comp Cam duration @ .50 224/228 Lift .569/.572 Lsa 112 center line 110

and I was wondering how well this would work w/ the stock heads, and what else should I get for the cam. Im not doing heads, this is just to hold me over w/ some more hp b4 I get a new block

hp gains?

TIA

Will work ok. There are better but that one isn't bad either. If you can it doesn't hurt to upgrade your valvetrain while your in there.

From what I've heard that cam is pretty good for what you're trying to do, you really should free up the exhaust if you haven't I.E headers, high flow cats or ORPs. I would take a WAG that high 300rwhp is possible with bolt ons and tuning. That type of cam is very streetable and the stock LS1 heads will work very well with it.

I know a lot of guys here can fill in the blanks a lot better.

I already have Jet Hot LTs w/ no cats and the TSP True Duals, so exhaust flow is wide open.

ssheets do you mean 30 rwhp? or you mean ill be in the high 300s rwhp like 370rwhp?

what valvetrain would you recommend?

Why would you want a standard split cam with a "wide open" exhaust?

A standard split is a "crutch" for poor exhaust flow. A reverse split is a "crutch" for poor intake. It's a lot more complicated than that, but the point is that it's totally mismatched.

I have that cam in my 01 T/A. With headers, catback, lid and vig 3200 it put out 383hp and 363tq to the wheels. Idles smooth and no driving issues. No track times of yet.

Im not a good in this area of the car. I bought this cam w/ the forced fed high performance stage 2 heads. I sold them and cant get anyone to buy this cam so i was just wondering of how well it will work w/ the stock heads.

Better than stock, not as good as one matched to your combo. If it's just a hold-you-over until the new block, then it's not really worth it to change it out.

Are you saying there would be a signficant difference in performance or mismatching between the following camshafts in an LS1 engine running stock induction, stock cylinder heads, LT headers, 3" catback?

There would be a difference. How significant, I couldn't say. Obviously those all can't be optimal.
