I just put mine in a few days ago and love it. I've been tuning the idle and part throttle, haven't got to the WOT tuning yet. It idles well @ 900 rpm and never dies. I was on the freeway yesterday at 50 mph in 6th gear at 12-1300 rpm and it would still pull reasonably well. Revs happily to 6800 rpm. I haven't dyno'd it yet because I want to get the part throttle stuff down 1st, but it does run very hard. The valve train is as quiet as it was stock

just remember with the hot cam and asa cam.. if you ever look into buying heads, you can ignore the peak flow numbers at .600 and you can also ignore the flow numbers at .550 because you'll never see those numbers.

I also have a HOTCAM and love it!, I want to buy some patriot Stage2 243's over the winter. My question is how much HP & TQ will adding an ASA cam and heads give me?
anyone running this combo?
how much over the 406hp I have now will it give me?

I ran both the Hotcam and ASA cam with 243 heads. The ASA cam made an additional 10 hp over the Hotcam. If you want more low end grunt, go with the hotcam. If you want more top end power pick the ASA cam. Both cams lope hard, the ASA more ofcourse due to the overlap and 110 lsa.

If you don't like the ruff idle you don't want the ASA.
