i ordered a cam from a sponser here about a month ago and still have not received it. it was a custom cam, so i understand it has to be ground and turn around time is about 2 weeks. its not my first custom cam so i know it doesnt take this long. this is taking longer than my custom pistons order. whats the longest you guys have waited?

If it is a comp custom grind, I can get one in 3 to 4 days after calling them with the lobe numbers, LSA, and ICL.

My X4 took 6 weeks, and Comps grinds those cams, they were on back order I guess, so it depends on the company you got it from, sometimes it takes a while I guess

'Tis the season. Also it seems many mfgs have reduced inventory levels in case the economy takes a turn for the worse.

i was told the reason it was taking long was because comp has a shortage of billet cam core. really???? i am just frustrated and feel like cancelling my order and calling up cam motion.

I thought that lunati and comp cams no longer used billet cores for their lsx cams. At least that is what they told me about a year ago. Lunati only took a week to get me my last cam. It is racing season now, and tax refund time so time will increase.
