Default Only 320 rwhp w G5X3 and TPIS LT headers

I just installed a G5X3/114lsa and TPIS headers on my otherwise stock 97 C5 6 speed. The car only dynoed @ 320rwhp. Something seems really wrong hear to me. I know the stock heads and intake manifold would hold up some hp, but I did not think it would be that bad. I was hoping for somethig like 365-380hp.

This probably sounds stupid.... but you do have HPTuners or LS1-Edit to retune it right?

It is at the tuner right now. This morning they said they only pulled 320. They are still working on it, but they said that it was really low compared to what they typically see.

its probaly the injectors, they are probably all clogged, my friends T/A did the same thing when he swapped out injectors and he went from 310rwhp to 402rwhp.

Could bad gas be causing this? The car has been sitting for 7 months.

It could be a number of things if the car has been sitting for 7 months. It probably won't take them long to figure it out and I'm sure you'll be happy with the end results.

WOW
Good luck. I pulled nearly 330rwhp stock motor with SLP long tubes only. Something is obviously killing some power. I'm sure any decent tuner will find it for you.

either injectors, compression, or something's leaking 'creatively.' tune is a must...i'm curious what it can be. is it just low numbers, or is it actually slow (well, as slow as 330rwhp can be)

Car sat for 7 months? Damn, I would have dumped a gallon of 100 octane in it before I fired it up.

7 months is bad gas most likely...make sure you tell them that if they do not already know

something is defenitly wrong...unfortanetly it can be 100 differant things or a combination of things. id start with the basics....plugs/injectors/fuel pump possibly/tuning issue/your bad gas theory...illiminate your basics and go from there. no reason y you shouldnt be atleast 365rwhp+. whatever the case, it should show up on the dyno based on your air/fuel ratio they should know where to look.
goodluck and keep us informed.

Bad gas, bad plugs, bad O2's, etc. Probably one or more.

The tuner told me the car feels strong to about 3500RPM then it gets a little boggy. That is why I am thinking it could be old gas(it sat for 7months). Do you guys think that bad gas could hold up the hp #'s that bad. Other than that the car runs fine supposedly.
