Default Bogging, Stalling, All of the above...Help!!!

I just bought a 98 T/A (picked it up Tues, been in the shop till Fri) A4 and its already annoying the hell out of me. The car just decides to A) not start and B) bog down; when ever it feels like it.

Has such a rough idle!!
Eventually my car starts...sometimes right away...but most of the time when it does it sounds like its choking and the car sounds like its gonna stall and it either does or it comes to life....
I noticed there are more questions like this but ill tell u this...

When it happened the Oil pressure gage started to drop...real low. This also happens in drive...or whenever i let my foot of the gas i get that feeling like that stalling sound.

Everytime i come to a stop sign or red light the car idles just above 500 and sounds like its gonna stall, but then eventually makes it up to 1000 rpm (normal idle) after a couple minutes.

The car did stall out yesterday. I let it idle for a while and it started to sound good...till i turned the A/C on then it went like **** (im in park by the way). Eventually it calms down and then as soon as i shifted to drive it stalled out half way there.

It just sucks when i try to show off my new car (SLP Loudmouth, K&N filter, Lid possibly more) and it doesnt start....or it chokes and bogs and doesnt start for up to 10 seconds, and then starts.

oh btw....like 1 out of 5 times it starts normal,,,and idles and drives normal,,, but eventually (like mabe 5 min) i come to a stop and it idles like **** again

Can anyboy help!! Please!!!!! Im thinking about taking it back as a lemon, granted I dont want to take it back, i just think that if im paying for the car, and i tell the used car dealership it doesnt start, while under warrenty, it would be fixed. Basically i want a working car. But they dont seem very helpful at all.

First off, why was it in the shop from Tuesday to Friday? What was done to the car? Does it have longtube headers? An aftermarket cam? Have you checked the O2 sensors? Checked plugs/wires aswell?

Well i was supposed to pick it up tuesday from the dealer as they were registering it and getting the sticker and everything. But they said it didnt pass emissions. So they said they had to changed the Camshaft posistion sensor. Said it was a 5 hour job.
But it ended up taking 3 days. Mentioned something about an intake gasket, and a oil plug. They didnt give me a lreciept when i picked the car up (i didnt my g/f did) so i dont know exactly what they did

However it was under warrenty so it was free. The funny thing is is when my g/f picked up the car and it didnt start they said "Your doing it wrong" ha...i think this stealership is a buch of ******

Sounds like they messed up installing the Camshaft position sensor...

You might want to see if it is storing a crank sensor (P0336) or a crank sensor relearn code (P1336). That type of failure will cause the same problem you describe. It may just need the relearn procedure done.......the PCM can't run the thing if it has poor crank reference......especially below 1000 rpm.
