polishing the chamber is a good thing... the carbon cant cling to it as easily, and the finer the surface, the less peaks to get hot....
with carbed cars, you dont want the intake runners perfectly smooth because you want the fuel to remain suspended in the air, and that requires a bit of a tumble near the walls.... but with fuel injected cars aimed like ours, i doubt it makes any diff at all....
