Its like engine swaps are just as common as a cam swap, especially now that many people are taking the engine out to do the cam swap!!! A write up is definitely needed, maybe ls1tech.com can work something out with someone I hope. Until then my engine will be staying in the car haha, until I decide i want bigger badder motor. Thanks All Great Pics!! GOOD LUCK

I haven't in the past but it probalby wouldn't be a bad idea. One time while it was up I changed the springs, shocks, wheels, and tires so that time I had to get a realignment. But other than that particular time no and I was fine.
Hio - Do you have pics of the motor removed doing that?
Also, I will try to scan and post the pics up out of the book. I think I may have to have the photos resized. I do not have a photoshop on my computer so i may have to send them to someone and let them host the pics.

Alright, I'll get the pics scanned, re-word the text to where you can read it wothout a damn dictionary or automotive glossary, post it up under a new thread tomorrow night hopefully. I'll put a link to it in here as well.
P.S. Should this be posted in LS1-LS6 Internal or LS1 Enthusiast Owners?

Don't knock it til ya try it. I'm telling ya, you can have it in and out and do what you need in a day. I.E., cam install, head swap, oil pump, timing chain, anything like that that would take less than a couple of hours. I'll get ya pics and a step-by-step up here after while, you'll see.

UPDATE: GOING BACK INTO THE CAR
Well, I am willing to bet it topped the 100 mark today. I sweated so damn much I was swimming in it. Anyway, Thanks to all those who have helped along the way, especially Levi (Cannibal)- I couldn't have gotten it this far without your help, and I owe you some lunch sometime. As of now, we need to replace a power steering line that stripped (will be here tomorrow), replace the sway bar endlinks because one snapped, and put the headers on, which will also be here tomorrow. The car just needs to be lowered over the new engine, and it should bolt right in with minimal problems I hope. I'll post pics of final installation tomorrow night.

Me either I tried, the thread is up. Here is the link, all I have is for the f-bods right now, vette and truck will come later. As well as pics I guess. If you have any of the pics of the components described post it up below the thread and I will add them to the thread, there are 40 steps.
