Take the oil pan off and take a ball peen hammer and tap the rod caps if you here a hollow sound or one that sounds completely differant than the others thats your bearing. If you take the caps off you'll know it will be chewed to ****. Also the bottom of the rod and cap will be darker or black because of excessive heat.

ok heres what previously was happening, i went out and ran the car n/a it pulled up into the 6400rpm range easily, then i went and ran the car on the bottle it ran like crap it struggled up to about 4800 rpm and then just seemd to lose all torque, so i stoped and checked all the fluids, everything was fine, so i ran the ran n/a again, it ran great, so i tried the bottle again and it struggled again, so i drove home parked the car, next morning i got up to move the car and as soon as i started it it started making a loud banging/knocking sound so i turned the motor off and checked the basics and couldnt find a problem so then i went ahead and pulled the motor out and found nothing to be wrong in the block that i can tell, no metal shavings in the pan or anything, so my thoughts were the converter is broken??? could that be a possibility i mean there isnt much to see on a converter, also the lifters look ok, the olny things that looked strange to me was on the drivers head 3 plug ends were gone and one intake vale was strangely clean and didnt look like the rest?? anyone have any ideas

id pull each rod and main cap just to check bearings. plastigauge them all to make sure they are w/in spec. If they are and look ok, you've ruled that out.
