Default Patriot Head Pkg.

Our local speed shop and one of our sponsors has an H/C package for $1949. This includes Patriot stg 2 heads, a comp cam of your choice and the rest of the hardware to complete the package. Originally I was planning on the AFR 205's. This is just a street car and will get to the track once when all work is complete to get some timeslips. How much power will I lose by going with the lower priced heads. Is this a bad decision? I'm probably saving around $700 with the package. I've got all boltons and put down 340 rwhp now. Would this package get me to 400 rwhp? Thanks.

You're considering Patriot after all of their quality control issues? I'd think again. Do a search on PP heads, you might not want to go that route.

I never have had a problem yet w/ PP heads. I did buy them before all the issues came up though. I have had them for a year now. Also, made real good power using them.

I've had no problems with my PP heads and gained 26rwhp over the stock 241's. Power numbers are in sig w TR224 going thru cats.
