I like the Comp grinds personally and just bought a 281 XER for my FRC. Specs are 232/234 dur. & .595./.598 on 112. Does anyone have an idea what the max. lift /duration cam is before having to fly cut pistons? I see conflicting reports here and think it would help the originator of this post as well.

Isn't daily driver but still like to actually drive to places to do some races on the street. Have been looking at the FMS F14 cam but now wondering if that will be enough. Have not yet dyno'ed the car because of lack of time but how it compares to others around here it runs pretty strong and i'd guess around 340 rwhp. Just wondering a cam that will net around a 80 or more rwhp gain.

the trex in my car is putting down well over 450 on a stock rear which im assuming that is what you still have. 4.10's are ok but more gear is much nicer, ive had both, also, finding someone that knows how to tune big cams for drivability is a big help for street duty, i daily drove my trex for 3 months with 4.56 gears and a stage 4 clutch and i had no issues other than the fact that i was to lazy to put my ac back in.
