Default Best Hydraulic Roller Lifters for 6600 RPM?

What is the best hydraulic roller lifter for a 6600 rpm LS6 motor. I have a TSP 233/239 cam with Comp R lifters now. They don't float but they are so noisy that when I drive the car with the mufflers, it always sounds like I have a broken rocker arm. I have adjusted them at the recommended .002-.004
and at .010 and .020 and more, they just won't quiet down. The cam is strong to 6600 and the rev limiter is set on 6800 so I need a lifter that will make it to 6600 for 30 minutes of road racing. What are you using that will live to 6800.
Thanks

Stock lifters work great to 6800. That's what I'm running. Quiet and will rev to 6800 no problemo.

GM is sounding better, and you know the price is right.
Patrick G is running a .644 lift cam @6800, that rocks.
If GM lifters can live through that, my little .600 233/239 TSP should be no problem, right??

I'd probably stay with the stock lifters.. Plenty of people are running them with no problems..

I don't know. That is asking a LOT of a stock part.
I have also read that the Morel lifters are worth a decent amount of power, and I have budgeted the money aside for them.
This is a new motor build-up by the way.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but for road course duty id bring that shift light down to 6200. 6400 at the most, thats a lot of wear and tear on the motor, and it will not last long at all on a road course.

The initial investment in Morels is more then others, but also take into consideration that they are a fully rebuildable lifter so when you buy a set you don't have to ever buy another set.

Thunder, FTI, Futral, Rapid, and HPE all stock the Morels.

I hear ya on that 6200-6400 for road racing. Lower is always better for endurance.
I have forged rods and pistons to make it last. This motor sounds sweet from 6000-6500 and it gets there quick. My G-Tech shows peak power at 6100 so I am letting it rip.

I'm running stock lifters with ~60k miles to 6950. no problems yet - but, the bird is in the air getting a few more tweaks. I will be installing a set of Morels before she gets back on the road again.

I heard that today from an engine shop that sells them.
Do they lift the valve more at high rpm?
Anyone experience more power, or is it just a sales strategy.

FWIW: the C5/6-R red lines at 6200, and thats with an unlimited budget.

As for the morels making more power, I could see that happeneing, But not a large amount. I could see the power comming from better valvetrain contorl (not sure if thats the term I want to use) at higher RPM.

Yes they make more power. Power gains from 7 to 21HP have been seen with back to back dyno testing. The valving tolearnce in the Morel lifter is very tight, +/-.0002". I have seen documented proof the lifter makes more power then others. They will sustain more power at higher rpm then other brands.
