your rpm rev limits ?
How do you know what you can safely raise your redline to, and how do you go about doing it?
IMO, the best way to look @ it is where does the HP curve flatten or start to dive. Running higher RPM's while losing power doesn't make any sense. So, the people you see running higher RPM's continue to make power to that higher engine speed. This can be recorded on a chasis dyno. Generally, there are top end & in some cases bottom end engine mod's. allowing this to happen.
In my case, the car flattens out right @ 6,200 RPM on a mild cam & AFR heads. For this reason, shifts are @ 6,200 RPM & red-line or fuel shut off is @ 6,500 RPM. This would be considered conservative to most people with a head/cam set up. Hope this is helpful.

How do you know what limit you can raise it to based on your mods before it blows?
