Did you take anything apart under the motor? Oil pan? Something like that?

Guess that means you dont need me to install that cam for you anymore.
Glad you let me know......
Good luck with the oil problem. Did you change the oil?
Maybe the filter isn't on correctly.

Not trying to be a smart *** or anything, but did you get your oil changed recently? Check the filter tightness. Ive seen that before a few times. Sometimes old seal is still stuck on there.

Also, were you beating on it pretty good on the way home?

we changed oil but not filter because the chode that put it on before put it to tight and i didnt have a filter wrench handy, so I kind of ruled the filter out

Damn that sucks. I am sure it is a simple fix, but might take some time to find.
Tomorrow you need to start the car and find the leak, then it will be easier to tell you how to fix the problem.

i Thought it was just burning a oil but a almost drained crankcase and underside coated in oil had me believe otherwise, especially since its before where my exhaust cuts off under the car

Also, if you were trying real hard to get the filter off, they have a tendency to tear a little bit. Maybe you have a 1" or so tear in the filter? That much oil loss with the vehicle still being able to run fine, makes me think its something petty, or stupid thats leaking.

yea it ran fine even while pulling into parking space (of course I could smell a light oil smell) but that we dripped a few drops on exhaust. I wiped off the bumper the 1st time then the 2nd time i saw oil there i knew something was up
