Default Plugs for 11.2:1 compression

I have been having a problem with my car pulling timing from 28* back to 24 and 22. I wonder if the TR55 plugs arent a bit hot for the compression and timing. I am thinking about going to the TR6. What do you guys think?

TR55 all day. You may have false knock, or maybe a bad knock sensor. Or you could be running a little lean, or...............

TR 6s are not a bad idea with a little bit bigger gap (stock is around .038"). I'm running stock gapped TR 6s.

In my old motor I ran 11.1 and I used TR6 gapped at .045. In the new setup I'll be running 11.5 and will run the same TR6 gapped at .045 for NA applications. They have worked flawlessly for me on 93 octane and 31 degrees of timing.

I'll check my gap when I go home tonight. Thanks for the input.

Colder plugs can foul at lower rpm. I have 11.5:1 compression, have to mix race fuel with pump gas to keep it from knocking at WOT.

I'd run the TR-6's @ .040-.045
