sounds to me like a good setup. If it were me I would run around a 4200 or 4400 stall but I could be wrong in doing that. Id be interested to know some times on that setup. I would guess 10s are possible!

I'd go with a bigger stall as well, 4000+. Might want to think about the 4.10's too, 3.73's may be a better choice. I'd also mill the heads for compression, and run cometic gaskets for quench. You'll probably have to flycut the pistons. 10's should be possible once you get everything nailed down.

if i milled the heads i would have to flycut the pistons, dont really want to do that. This car still might see limited street time so maybe the 3.73's wouldnt be that bad of an idea. Any other comments? Any close combinations out there?

just to clarify something but dont cosmetic gaskets raise compression? What is the compressed thickness of them?

Not going to make much of a difference in compression, but will make the difference in getting the quench right. As for thickness, they are custom made, so it depends on what you want. ~.04 is a good guess.
