That is usualy a looser comment after a race. Cam it, juice it, boost it, whatever, when you win, you win; that is all.

Well cam and head it then spray a smaller shot to be on the safe side of the stock cast pistons. One good point for running nitrous is it keeps your chambers clean!!!

Heck race a stock nitrous car, and with your heads and cam car, if you start to get pulled hit the button and wax him, or make him up his shot and go POP!!! I wish this on nobody.......

You've seen my signature.

I'm an LS6 intake away from 400whp and I couldn't be happier.

Bottle is coming down the road, but I wouldn't want to be sprayed without SOUNDING like a mean ************.

You simply won't believe the idle of this cam with a mean exhaust.

yeah what he said, besides it seems when ever you get a chance on the street to run a good contender your usually out of nitrous anyway!

definitely get a cam and a gmmg catback!! sounds killer.

Are you for real? of course it matters..a real race is not only a measure of who is a better driver but also whos motor is more powerful. any monkey can strap in a bottle. theres no glory in that..any true hot rodder should that.

Nitrous is going to make you faster 90% of the time. If you are only going to spray a 150 shot tops, then a dry shot will be a pretty safe way to go. Especially with a window switch it would be pretty fool proof. With a wet kit you have to keep a close eye on RPMs and nitrous PSI becaus if your PSI isnt right then you wont get the proper fuel/nos mix and have a backfire which might cause no damage or blow the intake off, or worse. Where with a dry kit it just wont be as fast.

And I love the nitrous haters, especially since im usually ahead with the cam, head, and cubic inches as well. lol

Are you one of those guys that when you think somebody sprays on you and complain because "it's not fair" that you lost??

FYI: Nitrous isn't strap in a bottle and go anymore than slide in the cam and go.

He could do nitrous AND a cam! A 5177 NOS dry kit only cost $400. Used they can be cheaper. You can also piece togeher your own dry kit for around $300 all new stuff.

I dont see the difference of slapping on a supercharger, nitrous,or turbo(besides the way they make the motor respond)to me some one saying any monkey can slap on a bottle is the same as saying any monkey can slap in a cam or turbocharger,To me they all do the same thing differently. THEY ALL GET MORE AIR IN. Hell if money were no issue I would use a Heads/Cam,turbo's,nitrous or that ever else all at the same time. JMO

cam and heads. You can get your heads port and polished from like 1 k and a cam for 350-400. Cam much safer, and you can build off of that. How much can you spend????
