Default AFR 205's

Ok, I just got a price for a set of AFR 205's, $2,222.00 plus shipping. Having them installed in a few days, the price came from the shop that is doing it. That price sound good?

I paid $2189 with free shipping, that's the normal price from vendors here in the GP section. If stock out of the box with no milling, someone is adding a markup or getting them from someone that wants too much for them.

Are these still price controlled at $2189? I could have sworn a vendor here (who I won't name) had them at $2000 shipped about 2 months ago.

I'm getting a set upgraded to Comp 921 dual valve springs. Prices are all over the road:

AFR 205's w/59cc combustion chamber & Comp 921 dual springs: $2450 from LMPerformance

AFR 205's w/dual springs to .650 lift: $2150 from Texas Speed & Performance

AFR 205's & Comp 921 dual springs: $2430 from Pro Dyno

Prices for the basic, assembled 205's w/66cc combustion chamber vary even more wildly. If you could put an average dollar amount on a set, at least from what I've seen, it'd run about $2400. So far, the cheapest I've seen for AFR 205cc 66cc combustion chamber, fully CNC ported & assembled is $2181 from LS1Speed, and $2183 from Scoggin Dickey.
