What cam is this?

I bought a cam used that i was told is the z06 cam. But in the back it sais "C" on one side of the round cylinder type parts. And "2" on the other.

????

GM cams have the last 4 digits of the part # on the end of the cam, along with some other #s. If it is a 01 LS6 cam you should see 0950 on the end, and if it is a 02+, you should see 5308.

If i knew the specs i wouldn't be posting this.

And no. It just sais C and 2. I'm guessing it's the MTI c2. But i was hoping it wasn't because i was gonna use this cam with a turbo. Not sure how the MTI C2 is with the turbo. The specs on the MTI C2 Cam are : 224/224 .581/.581 112 lsa. Wonder how well it would work with a turbo ls1.

I would not take a chance and assume it's a C2. Take it or mail it to a shop with a cam doctor. It's not expensive at all and well worth not screwing up a motor.

Yeah that is what i'm intending to do. Figured someone on here has a cam that sais c2 on the back.

The GM part# for the stock 01-02 F-body cam is 12561721.

Took a picture of the cam, and something showed up i couldn't even see with my bare eyes. Even now that i know it's there i can't read what it sais. But in this picture it's clearly visible.
