Default valve spring questions?

im getting a set of heads that have the comp 816 springs w/titanium retainers and standard locks,

my question is can i just replace the springs with patriot golds and use my retainers and locks?

Thanks

you would be better off to sell the 918's with the other hardware then buy the kit from Patriot.

i could do that, but im not gonna sell those springs, i'll prolly give them away, cause the car that had them on it, kept breaking them, so i dont wanna sell it to someone else and have a problem, however once i get the springs off i'll give them away + shipping

but can i use the same hardware

I dont believe the 918 Ti retainers are stepped for duals. You could probably find a buyer to just the Ti retainers alone to help recoup some of the cost.

If you will give us a call, we can go over the measurements on the retainers and see if they will work for the springs.
