What would YOU do cam-wise with my setup?
I'm not posting what I've been thinking of recently as to what cam to get, as I want unaltered, unaffected opinions from others who have actually has experience with cammed LS1's. I want to know what YOU would do if you had my setup waiting for a cam, and why. Here's what I have:
'99 Z
-SLP cai
-SLP lid
-LS6 intake
-!AIR/!EGR
-Pacesetter LT's
-Pacesetter ORY
-Corsa catback
-Fuddle 3800/2.2STR torque converter
-TransGo shift kit
-Aluminum driveshaft
-3.73's
I want a cam that won't lope too terribly after a tune. I'm open to size, whether big or small. I just want something that will be badass all motor on stock heads (for now), work with my stall/gear setup, and be OK with a little N20 (<150 shot). Let me know what you would do. Thanks.

i'd say a 228 /228 or a 228/232 on a 114 if you want it to idle decent.that size cam may lose alittle bottom end but is big enough to keep when or if you decide to get a set of heads.

dont forget that he's on a 3800 verter. when WOT he will NOT be under 3800 at all. I recommend a cam that makes peak trq close to 3800rpm as possible yet has the top end hp to pull you thru the rest of the 1/4

Oh, one more thing that's important to me in building my car. I want a car that will be POTENT on the highway and similar situations. Where I drive there are a lot of open stretches with speed limits of 45 or more, so I do a lot of racing/screwin around from a roll. So something that pulls HARD up top would be badass as well. I don't want to totally lose my *** down low, but I do have gears and a stall, so top end takes priority. Thanks thus far everyone.

My daily driver has 224/224-112-581/581 with a 3200 stall and 3.73's. I did lose a little down low compared to stock but thats where the verter helps. The cam starts making power around 2800 and pulls all the way to 6600 and it is bad *** from a roll. It idles real well not to lopey but enough let peeps know that my ride has been cammed.
