I was enjoying this read on the G5X4 as I am thinking about getting one for the next motor I build. I do have a G5X2 here that I had in my car for about 1K miles but pulled out to sell the car as stock. If you are interested I would like $300 shipped for the cam.

That would require 8,300 rpm. Even if somebody did do that it doens't mean a da*n thing regarding the cam.

matt no longer works at LG, and those are not the right specs.

70 in first didnt sound right to me either but I've seen the dyno #'s and you cant argue w/ a stock bottom end 346 making 440rwhp w/ out spray. He had unported ls6 heads LT's, true duals, and a fast 90/90 w/ those numbers. Talk to Mike @ AZ power & sound he has been making some impressive #'s w/ LG's cams.

That would be the car that my brother owned Dont forget that 440 was with 4.10's and a steel driveshaft

You aren't getting this. Power doesn't have ANYTHING to do with it. I don't care if you have 1,000 rwhp, you are still going to have to spin 8,300 rpm to go 70 mph in first gear in a stock geared M6.

There is no way a stock bottom end LS1 will spin 8,300 rpm without letting go. And sooner rather than later at that.

Car has 4.10's, it never went 70 in 1st.....You had to shift out of first at like 44 or 45 @ 7k rpms
