Looking to buy a fuel rail for my Z06
Searched around and saw a few made by FAST, Texas Speed, custom ones. Now they are all similar as far as the rails go but I got a question on a few things. I dont want to put the stock rail on my FAST intake that Im putting on in a few weeks.
Most of them have opening on both front and back side of the rails. Now I know one side is going to be used for transferings the fuel from one rail to the next.
Now my other question is where does the fuel pressure regulator go? Just trying to figure out what I need before I start ordering all the parts for this setup. I was talking to Kris Jones at SDPC and he said they have an Aeromotive one but was not sure how the fuel pressure regulator goes and if you can use the one from the stock fuel rail.
Ive searched on this and cant seem to get a clear setup on this. Mainly just want to know what I need when I order the fuel rails to get it working cleanly on my Z06.

Got it, so I dont need that once I put on fuel rails?
Also does Nitro Dave only sell that special fuel rail quick disconnect connector? The one that connects to a stock fuel quick disconnect line to an AN fitting?

Guess I will do what Orange said and just not worry about the pressure damper and just install the rails, just need to find that damn quick disconnect to AN fitting. Last I heard it was $30.

I am also interested in where I could buy that adapter.
What you think is the best fuel rails?
Are the inside diameter different from one manufacture to another?
Do you recommend installing a crossover line in the rear also?

Well from searching everyone talks about NastyPerformance.com fuel rails are the best. And resonably priced at about $179 or so. They support well upto 1300hp or more. I want to install the line on the rear but many say its tight back there on C5s. I know the Fbody guys seem to get a line on the back without a problem, so I cant why a C5 cant.

Damn, I really want to cross over in the back so I can put a fuel pressure gauge in the front. Now with the crossover in the front going to be harder to get the fuel pressure gauge on there cleanly.
