well LG is wrong!!! lol. just kidding. im sure you'll be fine with that stall. but seeing that the car is mostly for fun, (not a daily driver) i'd stick a 4k+ stall in there w/ a 4.10 gear.

you want your car to be a beast??? that'll help get you there.

I liked my FMS F14, but it pulled HIGH.
I havent seen anything really impressive out of F15

Take LG's advice if you are going through them, they know what will work best for a setup with their cam, and their AFR heads (what they do besides mill I dont know).

I just ordered a Fuddle 3400 stall. I was told by many people including John Fuddle, that my cam (F11) would be perfect with a 3400 stall. I think you would need a bigger stall for those other cams. I considered the cams you are thinking about, and the more I thought about it, those cams like to make their power up really high in the RPM band, not exactly the best for the street. I will make a lot more low and mid range power with my F11 on a 112 LSA. In fact, lots of people have awesome results with a 224 cam. Just my opinion.

I had the x3 with a 4000 stall and thought it needed a bigger convertor. Made big power on the dyno but didn't run good. Made 429 rwhp and 390 rwtq through a ford 9 inch with a spool. But only ran 11.55 at 116 mph.

Why go to the X4? Those are some nice numbers.

Hmmm, I have an F14 and worked 5.3 heads. I haven't installed them yet, but I talked to Futral a few times about the setup. I was told max intake valve of 2.02" with max milling of .010" We milled about .007". I'm going to measure PtoV prior to selecting my gasket.

The 5.3 heads have a .030" lower ceiling than the 5.7.

I wish I could tell you my actual measurements, but I'm still looking at a few months (maybe 3-4 ) for some warmer weather before I dig in.

humm.... this whole g5x3 thing is soundin good... but instead of milling is there a good way to use gaskets to solve the issue or will this result in power loss?
