The cost will vary from company to company. Just choose a sponsor that does head work from the sponsor list to the right of your screen. You can usually find pricing and specs on their websites. You could also call them to get specific information.

PP head are what, 1100 to 1200. So, Why not have someone CNC/port my stockers for that much to a stage III's for the same amount of money. Thats what I am trying to find out?
If they are offering new casting and ready to go for that much (CNC's and assembled). Then why cant I send them my heads to do they same thing for less money (what they paid to get the bare heads)..

Quotes I got ranged from $800 to $1100 for stage II work, which included the port/polish/mill, and spring/retainer/etc upgrade. Remember to factor in shipping to and from.
Couldn't tell ya what stage III would run, but since it's not standardized, the range is probably greater.
Why are you looking for stage III in particular? In other words, what other engine work do you have planned to justify the expense of stage III head work?

Was just looking ahead. Once this motor lets go, I am looking at going 400+ CI motor. With that said, I will have the heads ready to swap over.

So Greg, will I save any money if I sent you my cores? And above, is that what they call a Stage I?

I think you may have forgotten that the patriots are assembled 6.0L LS6 style heads that flow quite a bit more then the 241s (I'm taking it that you have the older castings which are not the 241s) as well as a smaller combustion chamber 59CC instead of 64cc (I think ). With the added power of the LS6 heads I don't see why you would rather use the LS1 heads? Its been over a year or so since being in the H/C game so I would have to read up I may be wrong. Research it for a while and talk to the sponsors as well. Have you looked into 4.8/5.3 heads?
Good luck!
Rob
