Default 59cc or 64cc

I was wondering if I got heads w/ 59cc would it hurt my piston rings due to higher compression or stay with 64cc? what would be the diffrernce in hp? if any. I;m also concerned about the oil blowby, higher compression cause it to get worse? 2001 ws6, m6. also going with cam. 232/234 .595/.598 112 lsa. any help would be appreciated.

thanks

IMO, go for 59cc its usually the standard nowadays to get 11:1 cr. 346motors are stong and willhandle that no issues! youll also pick up 10-12rwhp.

just check PTV clearance before firing up the motor

Depends what fuel you plan on running. 64cc for pump gas.

Really? I was told 10.5 is about the highest you would want to go on pump gas...we have 91 premium here...

We used 59cc heads with a H/C install and in the Hot 90* + heat on pump fuel ,92 octane, we noticed a slight but noticable spark rattle.

64 is better....
G0 64 to 62 CC with an .045 Gasket...(About 11 to 11.2CR)
That gives u a quench of .038 which is very good, less prone to knock.

The only thing I would be concerned about is whether you have to notch your pistons. With your cam the valves may or may not clear. It's an extra $300-$400 added to your install cost to flycut. Unfortunately the only way to know for sure is when they do the install (I'm presumng you're having a shop do it).
