Pump seems dry to me as well. There is no oil dripping out. Felt around inside the pump with my finger and didnt feel any as well.

The spacer fell off the pump before I could see how it was on there. So I cant tell for sure if thats the problem or not.

Everything else seems fine to me. Should I chance it and install it with the spacer in the right spot? and hope that was my problem?

I mean ****...thats has to be it cause of the lack of oil in the pump. I could see how I put the spacer on wrong as well; its definitely possible thats the problem.

Unfortunately, knowing how that spacer was on was a critical piece of information in determining the cause of the problem. All I can say at this point is take your time, double check everything, and hope for the best.

The spring is behind that. If the pump was working when you removed it, and you didn't mess around with it when you had the pump out, I doubt it's the problem. Some people put a shim between the screw and the spring to increase oil pressure. I left my Katech ported LS6 oil pump alone. I figure they know what they're doing, so why mess with it. If you remove the two right side bolts you might be able to slide the spacer out without disassembling everything. While your in there, you might want to remove the pump cover and check to make sure the pump is centered on the crank sprocket/oil pump drive. You can read my thread on that. People have offered a few different ways to accomplish that. When you have the pump cover off, you can squirt some heavy weight oil in there to help prime the pump.
Take your time and check everything twice.

Thats just it. This is the first time I have put it on, so I cant say that it was working before or not.

I bought it off a member on here that ported the LS6 pump himself...

Hey, sorry that I never posted that pic. First, I couldn't figure out how to post a pic quickly and then things got real crazy for me. Did you remove the pump and take it apart while you had it all apart?

Is there a way test the pump w/o actually running the engine?

Good luck. If it doesn't work, just buy another pump to be sure.

Nothing at all.

Let it run for 5 seconds and nothing came up.

So I am going to have to swap it with the stocker then huh?

I know the spacer is on correct now atleast and still no pressure.
