Default Futral FM 6 cam

I'm looking at getting a cam sometime in the near future and was wanting to know if anyone one here has had this cam. It's 226/230, .575/.595 114LSA with a "semi aggressive profile". I'm looking for a good street cam that won't be so hard on springs like the XER grinds and the like, but still put some good numbers down, especially under the curve. This will be a daily driver, and I'm not looking to spin it to the moon, probably 6500-6600. I will also be running stock heads. The strategy here is to have a fast but reliable street car for awhile until I get enough money for a FI motor. Thanks

I'm running that cam, but with TEA 1.5 heads.Car put down numbers in sig.The idle is pretty rough but exactly what I wanted.Makes good power from 2500 up,and really wakes up at 4000rpm.Throttle responce is great with 3:42's.I have rev limiter set at 6400.This is my wife's daily driver (for now). She isn't thrilled about it.

Dyno sheet with heads, doesn't really help you though.

get the F11. Same lift, a tiny bit more duration on intake. And get it on a 112. Better under the curve power.

FWIW the exhaust lobe is actually a little taller than an XER lobe of the same duration. The intake lobe is similar to the less agressive Comp XE lobe.

Is this on the F6? Because the site lists this cam as "semi aggressive" profile, and the others are "aggressive."

Yeah same here. I'm more interested in the 114LSA version of that cam, but the 112 version would be very similar. IMO, there's too much talk of the big spring killers of cams(233/239, Torquer 2, etc) on here and not enough about the middle of the road variety such as the F6. We need all the info we can get.

yeah thats what im going with is the f10.I want to keep my lift under 580 if i can with the lobes of these bigger cams.the f10 just does the trick and might give up 10 hp to the f13 but its worth the stress it takes off the valvetrain,im not lookin for an all out setup.
