Default X-Mas Camshaft :)

Hey guys,

Santa left me a Vinci 079 Cam on Sunday (210/218 .551 LSA 116) I know it is a baby cam, but I was looking for one step above LS6, and this appears to be it. I am waiting for my ASP pulley (should be in Thursday), and hopefully will be installing everything on Monday. Wish me luck!

Excellent! The milder cams are great for torque and power increases in the normal D/D driving range, easier in the springs, etc. You should have fun during and after the install!!

Just finished the cam, pulley, and springs install, it was a piece of cake! Of course, now we are in the middle of an ice storm up here, so I will have to wait to see what kind of gains I got. I will post impressions when the weather clears. Thanks again all!!!

Finally got some driving impressions. I have to say I love it. Tons more torque, and pulls strong all the way to the stock rev limiter! I am definetly going to need some stickier tires now

I talked to Joe about it as well as some of the veterans on this board, and they all said it would be fine. The lift is relatively tame (within specs for the springs) and I believe the ramps are pretty soft, so should not be a problem. 99BlancoSS, thanks for the offer, but am going to wait and get a custom tune once I get headers.
