Default LS6 Oil pump

Search does not work, so don't bother with a useless post about using it.

I am trying to find the Part No. for the LS6 oil pump. Will it work on an otherwise stock 98 LS1?

Yes, it will work on a otherwise stock LS1 engine. Just call your GM dealership and say that you want an oil pump for an LS6 engine or a 2001 corvette, thats what I did. It should only be about $100.

We have ported and blueprinted oil pumps in stock for $155.

I have a 98, and I keep hearing about 98-00 oil pumps going out, and I really would rather spend $100-200, as opposed to $3-5,000 for a new engine. Thanks for the info. I will be contacting you soon, Katech.

Yes, there was a problem with burrs in the pressure relief valve bore causing it to stick. Our pumps have a honed pressure relief valve bore, ported inlet, and tighter tolerances.

I only have 8 pumps left but 50 more are being machined.
